|URGENT MESSAGE TO PATIENTS: We have been following the news and information coming out about the novel virus COVID-19. After taking the last few days to assess the situation, we have decided to close for non-emergency appointments for the next two weeks. For the safety of our staff, patients, and also to help prevent the spread of this virus and keep our entire community healthy and safe, we feel this is the right thing to do. Due to the nature of our work, it is in everyone's best interest to do our part and make this hard decision so that we can help slow the transmission of this virus and flatten the curve. We are in a position to stop the critical spread before the government has made this decision for us because we believe it is our responsiblity to everyone in the community. We understand this a major inconvenience and will work to get you rescheduled as soon as possible. If you are having a toothache or emergency, please call our office and as long as you are healthy and showing no symptoms, we will see you on an emergency basis. If you have any of the symptoms (fever, runny nose, cough, sneezing), or if you have been around anyone who has any of those symptoms, we will have to refer you to the local emergency room so they can take strong cautions to protect you from spreading the virus, while also treating your pain. We also believe that the masks and gloves that we would be using in our office for healthy patients receiving routine cleanings is irresponsible and should be donated to ER facilities so that they can you use them to fight this virus. We will be working hard to contact all patients currently in the schedule through March 26th. If you receive any e-mail or text reminders during that time for appointments, please know that was an accident. Please be patient with us as we navigate these uncharted waters.
